In this category we consider projects to improve diversity in the workforce, and those that make products and services more accessible.
Diversity is a subject that should be at the forefront of every modern company’s recruitment strategy and should not be considered as simply an exercise in virtue signaling.
The more diverse a workforce, the more representative it is of wider society, which brings clear benefits to any corporation attempting to gain greater insight into the views of its customer base. In addition, more diverse companies have greater appeal to candidates in the jobs market, increasing a company’s chances of hiring the best talent.
Project Examples
- Hiring policies
- Graduate and apprenticeship schemes
- Work groups and societies
- Training schemes (e.g., unconscious bias)
- Community initiatives
- Support for diversity focused charities

- Accessibility projects

Submitting case studies
All companies and institutions are invited to submit evidence to the rankings research via the submission of case studies through our Submission Portal. Case studies are any projects, deals or news related to the company in the 12 months back from our submission deadline.
For each case study you should explain the following details of the project:
- Aims
- Challenges
- Process
- Key personnel
- Innovative or novel elements
- Outcome (including effect on your business)
Case studies will be taken into consideration for all relevant ranking categories.
Submitting your case studies is the best way to ensure that we are aware of the innovative and outstanding work you are doing so you get the credit you deserve.
