CCT Research is set to expand its clinical trial operations, the company’s key site network involved in Covid-19 vaccine research to the Salt Lake City metropolitan area in Utah, US.
The company is set to partner with local physician practices Olympus Family Medicine, Ogden Clinic and Springville Dermatology to enhance its total site network to 17 locations across the country.
It embeds clinical research in physician practices and care communities and allows patients to take part in studies.
CCT Research president CJ Anderson said: “Our goal is to provide clinical research opportunities to patients in a safe, trusting, local environment, and we’re thrilled to make this a reality in Utah.
“Clinical research offers patients the opportunity to receive investigational treatments that may not otherwise be available. By making studies more convenient, we can improve participant engagement and data quality, enabling clinicians to deliver leading-edge patient care options.”
At present, the company partners with multiple pharmaceutical companies to support clinical trials for Covid-19 vaccines.
