The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 10.42% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s pharma industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
Alberta Health Services posted 32 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a drop of 17.95% over the previous month, followed by Vancouver Coastal Health with 6 jobs and a 200% growth. Johnson & Johnson with 5 IT jobs and F. Hoffmann-La Roche with 5 jobs, recorded a 150% growth and a 150% growth, respectively, while McKesson recorded an increase of 66.67% with 5 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.09%, down by 11.67% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with an 18.99% share, registered an increase of 25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 12.66% share, down 50% over July 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.27%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
