US-based oncology software company Massive Bio has entered an expanded partnership with Un Ensayo Para Mi (UEPM), a clinical trial search platform, to enhance access to oncology clinical trials in select regions.

The companies will deploy advanced AI technologies across nine Latin American (LATAM) countries, including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina, to improve clinical trial availability and patient care.

Massive Bio’s AI technology is designed to optimise the trial enrolment process by streamlining patient matching, thereby reducing the time and effort required.

The partners aim to improve access to trials for cancer patients in LATAM, striving to close the gap between new treatments and the patients who urgently require them.

Massive Bio co-founder and CEO Dr Selin Kurnaz said: “Expanding our collaboration with UEPM is a pivotal step in our mission to democratise access to clinical trials globally.

“By leveraging UEPM’s extensive network and our AI technology, we can ensure that more patients in LATAM have access to cutting-edge therapies.”
