The industry’s overall hiring increased by 18.94% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

Top five pharma companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 82.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s pharma industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
Eli Lilly and posted 40 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 400% over the previous month, followed by Novo Nordisk Foundation with 30 jobs and a 7.14% growth. GlaxoSmithKline with 24 IT jobs and Bayer with 22 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 100% flat growth, respectively, while Bracket Global recorded an increase of 425% with 21 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.56%, up by 17.14% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 33.63% share, registered an increase of 16.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 4.8% share, up 14.29% over July 2021.
