Top five pharma companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 34.51% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s pharma industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
AstraZeneca posted 47 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 17.5% over the previous month, followed by Novo Nordisk with 12 jobs and a 47.83% drop. Merck with 12 IT jobs and Eurofins Scientific with 11 jobs, recorded a 57.14% decline and a 56% decrease, respectively, while GSK recorded a decline of 57.69% with 11 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 49.73%, down by 35% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 39.34% share, registered a decline of 14.29% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.84% share, down 35.71% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.09%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
