Medical data informatics company Clinerion will expand its Patient Network Explorer (PNEx) to hospitals and clinical trial sites in Uruguay after partnering with clinical development service provider Eugen.
Under the partnership, Eugen will encourage hospitals in the country to join PNEx. Both companies intend to use PNEx to provide clients with real patient health data insights while choosing their clinical trial’s geographic distribution.
They will also provide better trial design tools and ensure effective patient enrolment.
Both companies said that hospitals in Uruguay will be able to increase their visibility and attract global multicentric trials while providing innovative treatments to patients.
Clinerion CEO Ian Rentsch said: “This partnership is true to Clinerion’s aim of bringing the most modern treatments to patients around the world.
“Joining the Patient Network Explorer platform, sites in Uruguay will become more visible for trial sponsors making site selection decisions. As a result, patients in Uruguay will gain access to leading-edge international trials matching their treatment needs.”
