Larsen & Toubro Infotech (LTI) and eClinicalHealth have signed a strategic partnership to help decentralise clinical trials for faster outcomes.
The collaboration is aimed at accelerating digital innovation in the research and development of the clinical trials management process for patient-centric drug development.
LTI stated that 86% of clinical trials are delayed due to the challenges faced in patient engagement, including recruiting and retaining patients.
eClinicalHealth has launched Clinpal, a Cloud-based patient-centric software-as-service (SaaS) solution, to address this challenge.
Clinpal is an end-to-end, direct-to-patient digital clinical trials platform that improves patient engagement throughout each clinical trial.
LTI Life Sciences, Media, Consumer and Technology executive vice-president and global delivery head Archana Ramanakumar said: “At LTI, we are on a journey to drive digital transformation for various aspects of clinical trials.
