As the regulatory landscape continues to evolve, how can the clinical trial supply industry navigate compliance challenges and ensure alignment with changing regulations?
This topic will be at the forefront of discussions at the upcoming Clinical Trial Supply New England 2024 conference, which will be held 9-10 April in Boston, Massachusetts.
The two-day event will showcase talks from top industry players and cutting-edge solutions in the exhibition hall.
Day one of CTS New England will feature presentations from US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) experts about importing FDA regulated Biological Products. The conference will also hear from industry players including AstraZeneca who will explore strategies to tackle drug waste in healthcare, looking at how precision medicine and personalized dosing can be leveraged to minimize drug overuse and reduce waste.
Discussions on how to improve supply chain management will take place and participants will uncover how emerging technologies, such as blockchain, IoT, and AI, can revolutionize the clinical supply chain and enhance visibility, traceability, and efficiency.
The second day of the conference will host four problem-solving roundtable discussions. During the sessions, the conference hall will be divided into three zones and delegates can choose which zone they would like to join. Each zone will be led by a table moderator and focus on a different challenge within clinical supply chains. After 45 minutes, delegates will have the opportunity to swap and choose a different table, and each roundtable will run twice.
Additionally, an expert from the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute will delve into the importance of building resilient clinical supply systems and explore the technologies and methodologies that enhance agility and responsiveness to prevent shortages in the face of unforeseen challenges.
Other sessions will investigate how decentralized manufacturing can enhance clinical trial supply and the coming impact of new tissue stem cell quantification methods on cell supply for stem cell therapy and gene therapy clinical trials.
Throughout the conference there will be case studies in clinical trial supply and innovations, providing attendees the opportunities to enrich their knowledge across the space and network with industry colleagues.
