High-security sample storage with constant monitoring
Cryostore offers high-security long-term or short-term storage of clinical trial samples, and storage of key research materials such as cell lines. We also offer back-up storage of temperature-critical materials for disaster recovery.
Our facilities are continuously monitored and alarmed, and we have a 24/7 response system. We provide full emergency back-up, including storage, power and data storage, as well as barcode inventory, a sample tracking system and comprehensive data reporting.
Temperature ranges are: ambient, 2ºC-8ºC, -20ºC, -80ºC and -190ºC.
GxP-compliant biological sample storage
Cryostore is a GxP-compliant biological sample storage company approved to Group 3 biohazard standards and approved to store Class 3 biohazard material. We are licensed by the Human Tissue Authority, and we hold a Class 1 (human application) licence.

Cryostore offers secure storage of clinical samples and biological material with full inventory control and temperature data reporting at the following temperatures: ambient, 2ºC-8ºC, -20ºC, -80ºC and liquid nitrogen vapour phase.

Biological sample logistics
Cryostore utilises the most appropriate carrier for the transport of material to the facility, and will arrange all aspects of the transportation of material.
External monitoring system for sample storage
An external monitoring system provides continuous electronic recording of the freezer temperatures. These readings are transferred to Cryostore’s server system on a daily basis.
A power monitoring system continuously checks the mains supply and the emergency generator will provide back up power to the storage units.
Secure biological sample storage facilities
Within the facility there is significant physical security as well as a full coverage intruder alarm and deterrence system. The facility is located within a walled and gated business park. The site has CCTV coverage and manned on-site security.
